Strategy game

Aegis Nexus

Aegis Nexus is a cinematic 3D tower-defense game. Enemy portals open on the edges of a procedurally varied battlefield and their units converge on a central route. You place defenses anywhere that is valid, and the enemy path is recalculated around every tower, so smart placement lets you bend the route and lengthen the walk under fire. Four colour-coded defense classes each have their own firing style and three upgrade tiers, including artillery that ignores line-of-sight blockers but has a minimum range. Six hostile chassis bring shields, armour and support behaviours across twelve tuned waves, and you can speed play up to 3x or launch the next wave early for a bonus. It has the most detailed graphics of the games here, so it runs best on a desktop or laptop. It is open-source under the MIT licence and uses Babylon.js.
