Shooter game
Operation Blackout is a contemporary military first-person shooter that runs in a browser tab. It uses no image, model or audio files: every texture, mesh and sound is generated by code, which is why the game takes about eight seconds to start the first time while it synthesises its materials. Lock the mouse, move through detailed industrial environments, switch between an M4A1 and an MP5, aim down the sights and reload. The game is desktop only and needs a keyboard, a mouse and a real graphics card. It is open-source under the MIT licence and hosted on Endless.
