Board game

3D Chess

3D Chess is a full game of chess played in a charming low-poly meadow, where expressive 3D characters stand in for the usual pieces. Tap or click a piece, then a highlighted square, to move. You play against an AI whose strength is a slider from 200 to 3200 ELO, with quick presets from Beginner and Novice up to Expert, Master and Grandmaster, so it suits a first game or a serious challenge. The board shows whose turn it is, keeps a record of the moves, lets you undo a move or start a new game, and captured pieces are sent to little cages beside the board. The scenery has trees, flowers and soft lighting, and the game runs in your browser on desktop and mobile. It is open-source under the MIT licence.
