3D game

Cube World

Cube World is a procedurally generated 3D experience set on the surface of a cube. A tiny car navigates a road network that spans all six faces, and every so often a slice of the cube rotates, instantly moving rows of tiles between faces and rearranging the world while the car keeps going. A day and night cycle brings sunrise, sunset, street lights and glowing windows, and the scenery includes houses, schools, parks, farms, ponds with ducks and even a cemetery with ghosts. You can switch between follow, top-down, cinematic and hood cameras, pause the action to rotate the view, or regenerate a brand-new world with a double-click or double-tap. It is a calm, endlessly varied toy more than a scored game, and it runs on phones as well as desktops. It is open-source under the MIT licence.
