Red Sands

Red Sands is an open-world western that runs entirely in a browser tab. The world covers roughly eight square kilometres of eroded frontier, with a physically based sky, volumetric weather, vegetation, wildlife, a town with a sheriff's office and horses you can ride. Raise the rifle to hunt, crouch to move quietly because animals can hear you, mount a horse and gallop across the plains, and skin what you bring down. Everything, including the terrain, textures, meshes and sound, is generated by code when the game starts, which is why the whole game is only a couple of megabytes. It is demanding on graphics hardware, so it suits a desktop or laptop with a decent GPU, and you can force a quality preset by adding ?quality=low, medium, high or ultra to the address. It is open-source under the MIT licence.
